Aviation Crisis Management Programme
You will gain knowledge in business continuity and crisis management planning. This course is developed in accordance with ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) and with reference to the ICAO Council Aviation Recovery Taskforce report.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Identify key requirements of an airport and airline’s emergency operations control centre and supporting facilities in the new normal
- Evaluate the effectiveness of business continuity and crisis management plans
- Gain knowledge on the overall aviation crisis management framework and how to care for affected passengers, crew and their next-of-kin
- Apply best practices in aviation crisis communications for air disasters and pandemic situations
- Adopt appropriate measures to prevent the importation of viruses
