CAAS invites all interested medical practitioners in Singapore to apply to be appointed as a Designated Medical Examiner. Appointment is granted based on criteria set out in Singapore Air Safety Publication (SASP) Part 9.

A Singapore-registered air operator can request for a CAAS-appointed DME at overseas locations, if required. The requesting air operator will be required to finance all the costs incurred by CAMB for the process. Interested air operators can contact CAMB for detailed discussions on the subject.
