[Updated] Aviation Foundation Programme Module I: Developing an Air Hub
You will gain an understanding of the international context of aviation as well as the economics and strategies for development of a successful air hub. The Aviation Foundation Programme is formerly known as the Civil Aviation Management Programme.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the course, you will be able to:
- Correlate how each component of the aviation ecosystem interacts with one another for the development of an air hub
- Analyse aviation management policies and strategies from the perspective of state/regulator, airport, and airline
- Examine the considerations and trade-offs involved in the development of an air hub
- Acquire new management perspectives to better develop aviation policies

This course is a foundation level programme that will benefit new entrants or new line managers of civil aviation administrations, air navigation service providers, airports, airlines, and ground handling service providers who require a broader sector introduction.
