Instilling in Students a Passion for Aviation 

A partnership between CAAS and Singapore Scout Association (SSA), the Air Scouts CCA and the Young Aviators Badge (YAB) programme is designed to ignite a passion in students for aviation.

Learn about the history of Singapore aviation, its achievements and basic aviation and aerodynamic principles through this popular 2-day YAB programme, conducted in schools by SSA, for primary and secondary school students.

The Air Scouts are members of the global scouting movement, with a focus on aviation-themed programme or activities. There are currently four Air Scout units in Singapore. These Air Scouts don the blue Air Scout uniform and complete various aviation-related activities, such as flight experiences and aeromodelling. They will also get to attend air navigation proficiency workshops and attain specialised Air Scout badges.
